Role Description
We are looking for a Regional Aftersales Manager to represent KGM in the field and drive dealer success. You’ll lead dealer support, resolve technical and customer concerns, and ensure enquiries are handled quickly and professionally. From diagnostics and warranty arbitration to training, compliance, and IT systems support, you’ll be the go‑to partner for our dealer network. Regular development visits, audits, and close collaboration with service departments will help maximise business opportunities and strengthen customer care. This is a hands‑on role for a proactive leader who thrives on problem‑solving, building relationships, and delivering outstanding aftersales service across the region.
Role Responsibilities
* Lead the dealer support department, ensuring all enquiries and requests are handled promptly and professionally
* Manage technical enquiries, provide diagnostic assistance, and support customer service and concern resolution
* Represent KGM in the field, liaising with dealer service departments and conducting routine development visits with clear action plans
* Drive business opportunities by auditing dealer standards, implementing training and compliance plans, and supporting new dealer appointments
* Oversee warranty arbitration, audits, and administration, assisting dealers with warranty claims and anomalies.
* Provide IT systems support to dealers and ensure accurate records of activities with regular reporting to the Aftersales Director
* Collaborate with the Aftersales Team, Warehouse Parts Operation, and other departments to deliver seamless aftersales support
* Liaise with DCM on dealer sales-to-aftersales crossover matters and support commercial requirements as needed
* Ad hoc duties as required – willingness to assist other team members during busy periods.
Work Experience Requirements
* Minimum of five years’ experience at a senior level in Aftersales
* Previous vehicle diagnostic experience (essential)
* Electric vehicle (EV) current high level vehicle diagnostic experience (essential)
* Experience of DMS systems preferable but not essential
* Flexibility to travel across the UK
Qualifications
* Minimum of Level 3 City & Guilds Motor Vehicle qualification (or equivalent)
* Minimum of IMI Level 3 Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement qualification (or equivalent)
