Job Description
* Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies - within fleet and facilities management
* Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
* Analyse and calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure
* Identify opportunities for process improvements within the procurement function
* Ensure all procurement activities adhere to regulatory standards and company policies
* Nurture relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company
* Assess, manage and mitigate risks in procurement process
The Successful Applicant
A successful Category Manager should have:
* Indirect procurement experience, ideally within fleet and/or facilities management
* Strong communication skills
* Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers
* Experience in collecting and analysing data
