The Role
The successful Teacher of History will:
11. Deliver engaging and thought-provoking History lessons across KS3 and KS4
12. Inspire curiosity, discussion, and a love of historical enquiry
13. Teach mixed-ability classes with confidence and adaptability
14. Track progress and support students to reach their potential
15. Work closely with a cohesive and encouraging humanities team
This role would suit both experienced History teachers and ECTs, with mentoring and support available.
Requirements
To be considered for this Teacher of History position, you will need:
16. QTS (or equivalent UK teaching qualification)
17. Experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4
18. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for your subject
19. The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues
20. Eligibility to work in the UK and a valid DBS (or willingness to apply)
