What You'll Be Doing Lead the production and review of financial accounts and balance sheet reconciliations Own the month-end close process and maintain the trial balance Contribute to Solvency II balance sheets and SCR calculations across multiple legal entities Complete Solvency II quarterly and annual returns Prepare monthly management information and support CFO reporting Liaise across departments to streamline technical data, statutory accounts, and regulatory submissions Play a key role in the audit process, including managing audit requests and responses Maintain and improve internal systems, spreadsheets, and process documentation Manage a small team to achieve deliverables, with room to grow Who We're Looking For Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Experience with Solvency II, statutory reporting, and financial controls Advanced Excel user and familiar with systems such as Sage Strong communicator with a proactive and adaptable mindset Insurance or Financial services industry experience is highly desirable You'll Excel If You Are Detail-oriented and deadline-driven A confident problem solver who can challenge and improve existing processes An effective communicator who can work cross-functionally What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits Hybrid work flexibility The chance to shape a new strategic function A supportive, forward-thinking finance team Real opportunities for personal and professional growth
