Responsibilities
* Undertake the safe unloading and distribution of materials.
* Assist the site team in relation to site security, cleanliness and segregation of waste.
* Checking of material quantities.
* Stack materials into designated areas/compound/containers.
* Ensure all pallets are returned to suppliers in a timely manner.
* Assist the Site Manager in preparing specific risk assessments for material handling, lifting operation and traffic management.
* Complete daily checks on forklift, complete the necessary report forms, and arrange rectification of any defects or damage.
Experience, Qualifications, Technical Requirements
* Hold appropriate certification/license (CPCS rough terrain telehandler and full UK manual driving licence).
* Basic knowledge of building materials.
* A strong appreciation and commitment to Health and Safety.
* Experience of operating telescopic handlers.
