During the apprenticeship you will initially study towards a Level Three Engineering and Manufacturing Support Technician qualification which is expected to take 42 months. Key responsibilities The use of bespoke test equipment to conduct testing on new and innovative sealing products and solutions. To understand and comply with the relevant Health and Safety regulations in place. Accurate recording and interpretation of test data to produce documentation and reports. Investigating seal failures and successes, providing feedback to colleagues and stakeholders as part of the research and development process. Liaising and updating relevant stakeholders on projects that you are a team member of. To assist the others in the Test Team to perform preventative maintenance and calibration activities, ensuring the area operates efficiently and to a consistently high standard. Assisting the wider Technical group in their duties, particularly during fluctuations in workload. To contribute and implement continuous improvement ideas, striving to “be the best”. Closing Date: Tuesday 10th June 2025 Hours of work Monday to Friday 35 hours per week. Rate of pay The starting salary £21,911.66 per annum. Qualifications Essential Experience Practical engineering skills. A strong adherence adhering to regulations and guidelines. The ability to read and interpret data, with a strong attention to detail. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point. A resilient approach and go the extra mile to improve standards and performance. Excellent communication skills along with the ability to build great relationships. The ability to problem solve and see tasks through to completion with a right first time attitude. The willingness and enthusiasm to embrace change, look at new ways of working and support continuous improvement initiatives and projects. The willingness to learn and develop as new challenges arise. Preferred Experience Previous experience within an engineering environment. Previous experience of CAD, particularly Autodesk Inventor. Qualifications The ability and willingness to progress towards a further engineering related qualification such as a HNC or HND.
