Senior PHP Developer (Office-Based – Milton Keynes)
We’re looking for an experienced Senior PHP Developer to join our growing SaaS team, building and scaling a high-traffic platform used by leading leisure and attractions businesses across the UK and beyond.
This role is strictly office-based in Milton Keynes (hybrid considered) — collaboration, speed, and shared ownership matter to us.
What you’ll be doing
* Building and maintaining core PHP applications in a fast-moving SaaS environment
* Writing and optimising complex MySQL queries for performance and scale
* Working closely with product, support, and client-facing teams to deliver real-world solutions
* Taking ownership of features from concept through to delivery
What we’re looking for
* Strong, commercial experience with PHP
* Expert-level MySQL knowledge (schema design, optimisation, performance tuning)
* Proficient with related technologies including JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, and Bootstrap
* Experience integrating with third-party platforms via APIs
* Experience working on large, long-lived codebases
* Comfortable in a fast-paced environment where priorities evolve
* Able to work from our Milton Keynes office
Nice to have
* Server administration experience (Linux, deployments, monitoring)
* Experience with legacy systems and refactoring
* SaaS or high-transaction systems background
* Experience working with booking systems or the leisure sector

* £45,000 – £60,000, depending on experience
