About the role: We are hiring a Chef Manager who will ensure future generations receive nutritionally balanced and tasty food. The position is part‑time, term‑time only with no weekend duties, offering great flexibility.
* Up to £32,000 per annum
* 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday
* Term‑time only – 39 weeks per year
Your Key Responsibilities Include
* Prepare, cook and present food to the standards required by CaterLink and the client.
* Ensure the location meets statutory and company requirements of Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental legislations and procedures.
* Enhance the company’s reputation for excellent food and service, consistently exceeding client and customer expectations.
* Run day‑to‑day operations of the kitchen, supervising teams, managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans.
* Act as the main point of contact for our client, recommending and implementing regular adjustments and improvements.
* Communicate regularly with line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets, ensuring achievement.
* Support and train teams, leading from the front to ensure all training is completed and performance is managed.
