As we start this new chapter, we’ll be working together with colleagues and partners to keep safety at the cornerstone of everything we do. As a Safety Business Partner, you will manage and lead a team of Safety Professionals, providing visible leadership and coaching. Your role will be pivotal in raising the skills and capabilities of our Safety Professionals and enhancing the quality of service, insights, and ideas offered to our customers. You will ensure that all Business Units and delivery routes have robust safety strategies and plans in place in line with the company Safety strategy Safer Every Day and contribute positively to our company's Annual Statement of Intent objectives. **What you’ll be doing:** Provide visible leadership and targeted coaching to build their capability, skills, and experience. Lead Business Unit Leadership teams and Directors in developing and agreeing on health and safety targets and outcome measures. Work with Directors and their leadership teams to develop and deliver clear, measurable, strategic plans that address key risk areas and drive operational performance. Significant experience in a senior health & safety role. Driving licence essential due to travel within the role Professional Health & Safety knowledge with a proactive and analytical approach. Ability to analyse business strategy and translate it into clear, actionable, and measurable people plans. Strong influencing skills at a senior level and experience in leading and supporting others to achieve business goals. Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to manage self and teams to deliver to deadlines.
