Role Overview
The role of the Contracts Manager – Roofing Systems will involve:
* Contracts Manager position dealing with various flat roofing systems such as bitumen membrane systems, single ply systems, hot melt waterproofing, cold applied liquid systems, insulation & green roofs.
* Overseeing all aspects of the Contracts Team: management, surveying, financial, contractual, planning, leadership and communication.
* Assisting with the preparation of quality bids, pre‑qualification questionnaires (PQQs), and other presentations as required.
* Maintaining good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation.
* Responsible for accepting, approving, and issuing contracts and subcontracts.
* Ensuring all projects are completed on time and within budget.
* Conducting regular site visits to all projects to ensure that they are running smoothly.
* Managing projects ranging in value from £100k up to circa £3m.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal applicant will be a Contracts Manager – Roofing Systems with:
* Contracts Management or Project Management experience within the roofing market sector, highly advantageous to have Flat Roofing experience.
* Experience dealing with Tier 1 contractors.
* Confidence in resolving any project related issues in a professional manner.
* An outgoing character who will be an integral part of the team.
* Excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal.
* IT literate (Microsoft Office).
* Effective time management, leadership and organisational skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
