Rate: £17.50 per hour
Hours: 30 hours per week (term-time only) with strong opportunity for overtime, including weekends and half-terms/holidays

At Star Player Ltd, we are dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where young people can thrive. We're looking for a dedicated Youth Mentor to provide one-to-one support to students, helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver one-to-one mentoring sessions tailored to individual student needs
* Provide guidance in areas such as social-emotional literacy, personal development, and future pathways
* Support students with their academic learning and study skills
* Maintain accurate records, including attendance and progress reports
* Work closely with tutors, schools, and parents to ensure holistic support
* Engage in professional development to keep up with best practice
What We're Looking For
Please only apply if you have at least 1 year of proven mentoring experience. Applications without this will not be considered.
* Experience working with children or young people in schools, mentoring, or childcare (minimum 1 year required)
* Experience supporting children with SEN/D (preferred)
* Knowledge of child development and behaviour management strategies
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills with young people, parents, and professionals
* Positive attitude, patience, and resilience
* Commitment to safeguarding vulnerable young people
* Driving licence (preferred)
* First Aid certification (advantage but not essential)
