ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a vital role, ensuring the safe, secure, and efficient management of our stock. Experience in this area, particularly with inward and outbound goods, managing stock inventory, forecasting, preparing orders for sale, and shipping goods, is essential.
While this is a managerial role, it also involves hands-on tasks. Dermapure Clinical has doubled its sales in the last 18 months, and we anticipate continued growth, leading to larger premises and a more managerial focus in this role. We seek someone excited by future prospects and the opportunity to develop the role further.
The role is based at our head office in Surrey.
RESPONSIBILITIES / SKILLS
· Working on Sage 200, our accounts and stock management system
· Proficiency with Excel spreadsheets
· Collaborating with the accounts department regarding stock control and ordering
· Managing goods inward, logging, and storing all goods appropriately
· Managing and optimizing storage space and planning for future capacity needs
· Overseeing the safe, clean, and tidy daily operation of the warehouse
· Managing stock control, including reordering, product lifespans, and stocktakes
· Preparing sales orders for shipping, ensuring safe and secure packaging
· Liaising with the sales team regarding sales order issues
· Negotiating with courier services and managing courier relationships
· Preparing and shipping trade show goods to ensure timely delivery and readiness for exhibitions
· Ensuring warehouse security and health and safety compliance
· Conducting yourself professionally for the benefit of the business, suppliers, clients, and team members
· Representing our business and brands appropriately and professionally
· Willingness to travel for meetings and industry events
· Flexibility to perform tasks outside of immediate job responsibilities when needed for the overall benefit of the business
· Exceptional organization, time management, and communication skills
· A keen interest in the skincare sector is advantageous
