Your future, your role
As a System Accountant, you'll be:
* Supporting the business during and after the implementation of IFS and any other Finance systems
* Working closely with colleagues across Finance, IT, and Facilities, playing a key role in optimising end-user functionality and making sure colleagues across the Finance team can carry out their own duties effectively
* Cleansing current data sets from multiple systems, including Proactis and Navision, working with master and transactional data sets
* Liaising with the finance Business Process Owner and SME's to define migration requirements
* Preparing data sets for import into the new system
* Supporting testing of the new system through validation of data outputs
* Mapping the existing chart of accounts to the future state, ensuring it is well structured and meets the business needs
* Supporting successful data migration with oversight of dress-rehearsal and cut-over of all finance data
You will:
* Hold a professional accounting qualification (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
* Have a strong understanding of financial processes and accounting principles
* Have experience with ERP systems and how they are structured from a data perspective (IFS desirable)
* Have previous experience with ERP system transformation and data migration
