About Us
We are excited to open our first UK hotel outside London in the vibrant city of Edinburgh. We are seeking an experienced Events Sous Chef to join our team and contribute to launching our brand in this new location. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating high-quality seasonal dishes, canapes, and bowl foods to enhance our guest experience across the meeting and events spaces.

The Hoxton in Edinburgh will feature 214 bedrooms inspired by Georgian heritage, a main restaurant, a lively lobby and bar, a large event space, and The Apartment, our unique meetings and events concept.

Role Responsibilities
1. Create and deliver high-quality food with attention to presentation, flavor, and standards.
2. Ensure smooth kitchen operations, including orders, deliveries, and hygiene standards.
3. Collaborate with the Head Chef on menu ideas and techniques.
4. Maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
5. Oversee the meetings & events kitchen team, ensuring high standards.
6. Use fresh, seasonal ingredients to support guest experiences.
Candidate Profile
* Passionate about hospitality and creating memorable experiences.
* Team-oriented, humble, and adaptable.
* Experience as an Events Chef in a busy environment, with a focus on fresh ingredients.
* Experience in meetings & events, contract catering, or banqueting is preferred.
* Strong leadership skills and a positive attitude.
