We are hiring a Customer Partner to join our growing customer service and support team in Cambourne. This hybrid customer-facing role combines call handling, technical support, and service coordination, playing a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Respond to inbound customer calls, emails, and service requests
2. Schedule field service engineer visits and coordinate appointments
3. Provide internal support to field and office teams
4. Manage and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
5. Use CRM systems to log service cases and capture sales leads
6. Provide technical assistance and triage service issues
7. Check stock availability and pricing for products and consumables
8. Maintain and update accurate customer data records
9. Process orders for spare parts and consumables
10. Make follow-up calls to ensure customer satisfaction after service visits
11. Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery
Essential Skills & Experience
12. Previous experience in a customer service, customer support, or call centre role
13. Confident with inbound call handling and managing service requests
14. Strong communication and problem-solving skills
15. Ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally
16. Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP - preferred)
17. Comfortable working to KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs)
18. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
19. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
20. Proactive and flexible team player willing to support beyond core duties
