Opearations Graduate Trainee Leprino is seeking to appoint a Opearations Graduate Trainee on a permanent basis. The role is based at the Magheralin site working within the Operations department. The Operations Graduate Trainee will support the day-to-day operations of Leprino UK's manufacturing site while undertaking a structured development programme across key operational functions. This fixed term role is designed to provide hands-on experience in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, building capability in production, continuous improvement, quality, safety and people leadership. Assist in monitoring production performance, identifying issues and supporting corrective actions. Gain exposure to shift operations and manufacturing processes across the site. Continuous Improvement Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean, Six Sigma and waste reduction projects. Support data collection, analysis and reporting to drive operational efficiencies. Contribute ideas to improve processes, systems and ways of working. Quality, Food Safety & Compliance Support adherence to food safety, quality and hygiene standards in line with Leprino and regulatory requirements. Assist with audits, inspections and corrective action tracking. Promote a strong food safety and quality culture across operations. Health, Safety & Environment Actively support a safe working environment by following health & safety procedures and encouraging safe behaviours. Participate in safety initiatives, risk assessments and incident investigations as required. Learning & Development Complete a structured graduate training programme across multiple operational areas. Build strong working relationships with colleagues, supervisors and managers across the site. Undertake project work and present findings to site leadership. The successful candidates must have: Essential: Degree (or expected degree) in Engineering, Manufacturing, Food Science, Operations Management or a related discipline. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Desirable: Previous placement or work experience within manufacturing or FMCG. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles. Interest in pursuing a long-term career in manufacturing operations.
