The role of Landscape Technician Chargehand will include:
1. Using equipment and materials in a safe manner as instructed and in accordance with risk assessment and the manufacturer’s guidance
2. Carrying out all tasks such as spraying, in accordance with supplier guidelines ensuring relevant records are maintained to comply with health and safety and legal requirements
3. Ensuring tools and equipment are kept in good condition and continue to be suitable for required tasks
4. Responding positively to complaints and breakdowns in service delivery to meet customer expectations
Skills and experiences:
5. Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
6. Ability to use and update computerised systems (including PDA) for work scheduling
7. A 'can do' attitude to work assignments
8. Pesticide Application Certificate PA1 – PA6 (or equivalent) is essential
9. Recent experience of working within a similar role where operating gardening machinery is essential
10. This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence.
