The Role As Financial Controller, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounts, payroll, insurance partnerships, and cross-border initiatives. You will provide strategic financial leadership, ensure compliance, and support business growth through insightful analysis and guidance. Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership & Strategy Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes Develop and maintain robust financial controls and procedures Deliver accurate financial insights and reports to the Board Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth Accounts Management Oversee day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, general ledger) Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting Prepare financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow) Manage audit processes and liaise with external auditors Payroll Oversight Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing Maintain compliance with payroll regulations and reporting Review payroll reconciliations and journal entries Insurance & Cross-Border Work Manage relationships with insurance providers Negotiate contracts and ensure compliance Support development of cross-border healthcare initiatives Monitor claims and settlements for accuracy and timeliness Board Reporting Present financial reports and strategic insights Support decision-making at Board level Contribute to long-term financial planning and organisational goals What Were Looking For Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role Ideally experience within healthcare or a regulated industry Strong knowledge of financial reporting, analysis, and controls Experience managing accounts, payroll, and insurance-related processes Proficiency in SAGE and Microsoft Office Suite Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills Confident communicator, capable of engaging at Board level Ability to work independently and meet deadlines What We Offer Competitive salary (based on experience) Opportunity to work directly with senior leadership A key strategic role within a growing healthcare organisation A collaborative and supportive working environment The chance to make a meaningful impact on healthcare delivery Ready to Apply?
