The Role
* Position: KS2 Class Teacher (Year 3, 4, or 5 – year group based on experience and preference)
* Location: Carterton, Oxfordshire
* Start Date: January 2026
* Contract: Permanent – Full-Time or Part-Time considered
You will:
* Teach a well-supported KS2 class in a welcoming and well-resourced setting
* Deliver high-quality, inclusive and engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum
* Inspire independence, creativity and a lifelong love of learning in pupils
* Use formative assessment to ensure progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
* Work collaboratively with year group colleagues and contribute to school-wide initiatives
* Be involved in enrichment activities, clubs, trips and wider school life
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated KS2 teacher who brings energy, creativity, and commitment to the classroom.
You will have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* A secure understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks
* Experience teaching in primary, ideally within Years 3–5
* Excellent classroom management and a nurturing, inclusive approach
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* A desire to contribute beyond the classroom and grow professionally
