Hours: 30 hours per week, working Monday - Friday 09.00 – 15.00. Working hours are subject to change.
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and organised Administrator to join our team. The successful applicant must be reliable, able to work flexibly and be committed to providing administration support for the Hotel Services Team. Experience in a similar role would be advantageous, knowledge of Microsoft office packages and IT are essential. The position requires driving, as you will also be required to work 2 days a week at St. Mary's Hospital in Kettering and occasionally at other sites for meetings.
Main duties of the job
Some of the main duties of this job include:
* Provide administration support to the department.
* Produce documents utilising various computer applications.
* Undertake projects and audits as required by management, undertaking research using relevant resources.
* Answer queries, problem solve, and communicate any issues or changes.
* Ensure Hotel Services invoices/recharges are completed as per procedure.
* Assist in maintaining the stock and order system, raising stock orders and requisitions where needed, and work with management to maintain service within resource limits.
* Maintain personnel files, collate and record staff annual leave, sickness and training records, and documentation relating to recruitment, contracts, and terminations, ensuring complete accuracy.
* Travel to other sites will be a requirement.
Experience
* Experience in a similar role or industry.
* Experience in an administrative environment.
Knowledge
* General education including literacy and numeracy.
* An understanding of the importance of health and safety.
* Knowledge of computer technologies and software packages.
