Contract type Permanent (Full time) Closing date 5 April 2026 Interview date 9 April 2026 Job Description We are seeking an organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Performance Events Coordinator to join our team and play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional athlete experiences and seamless event operations within the British Triathlon Super Series. This role combines event delivery, athlete communications, and operations coordination, requiring excellent communication skills, logistical understanding, and a passion for sport.
KEY TASKS
You will be the key liaison between British Triathlon and Super Series event organisers, ensuring each event meets the highest standards for athletes, technical officials, and partners. This is a varied and hands-on role with both administrative and on-the-ground event responsibilities.
Athlete Services
- Act as the first point of contact for athlete enquiries via email and manage the athlete services inbox.
- Work closely with the Pathway Teams (Olympic & Paralympic) to support athlete engagement and communications.
- Oversee and update the Super Series website and event pages, ensuring all athlete-facing information (e.g. schedules, maps, guides) is current and accurate.
- Create and distribute Athlete Guides in collaboration with internal teams and Event Organisers.
- Manage applications, start lists, competition entries, results, and rankings.
- Work with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure timely and clear communications.
- Maintain accurate athlete rankings and ensure results are published promptly and correctly.
Event Operations
- Act as the lead liaison between British Triathlon and event organisers across the Super Series.
- Coordinate with each Event Organiser on logistics including schedules, race routes, equipment, and event format.
- Liaise with Event Organiser’s on equipment needs and transportation logistics (e.g. van bookings).
- Develop and manage staffing plans for event weekends.
- Coordinate Technical Officials’ logistics and communications, including pre-event briefings with the Chief Technical Official.
- Attend Super Series events, providing hands-on support including event setup, delivery, and de-rig.
- Be the point of contact for the sport during a School Games year.
- Support budget tracking and invoicing for Super Series events.
- Co-manage and maintain the Super Series website, including updating resources and operational documentation.
- Lead on post series surveys and feedback.
- Directly support the operational delivery of any internally delivered British Triathlon events within the Super Series
- Work closely with the Pathway Teams (Olympic & Paralympic) to collate racing requirements from season to season and lead on securing venues and racing opportunities with Event Organisers
- Maintain all kit and equipment associated with the delivery of the Super Series

Successful working relationships are key to any role. Our new Performance Events Coordinator will report into the Head of Olympic Pathway. Essential

Strong administrative and IT skills, including website content management and Excel.
Flexible and willing to work event weekends as required. There are up to 12 weekends involved with event attendance, you must be available for at least 60% of these. The season runs from March to September.
Strong experience in event coordination, preferably in a sports or multi-event environment.
A full UK driving licence.
Desirable
Knowledge of triathlon or multi-sport event environments.
Experience working with athletes, performance teams, or technical officials.
Budget management or invoicing experience.
