Psychiatric Rehabilitation Band 3 Occupational Therapy Clinical Support Worker
Exciting opportunity to join the occupational therapy team within the Margaret Duguid Unit at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital, working in complex mental health rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities
* Work with people to motivate and inspire them to develop skills and interests that they can build and develop during their inpatient stay and into the community.
* Support occupational therapy activities and clinical support in the unit.
* Apply strong communication skills and work well as part of a team.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Motivated, enthusiastic, hard‑working individual who enjoys working with people.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
* Post-holder must have a PVG Scheme membership/record.
* Must meet the legal requirement to work in the United Kingdom (UK Visa and Immigration Service).
* Good understanding of ensuring reasonable adjustments for disabled, long‑term condition, or neurodivergent candidates.
Additional Information
Due to legislative changes as of 1 April 2025, this post may require a different level of criminal records check. The role is part‑time, and salary will be pro‑rata.
