The Role As a Motor Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of servicing, maintenance, and repair work on various makes and models. You will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are diagnosed accurately and repaired to the highest standard. Key Responsibilities Performing routine servicing and general vehicle maintenance Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults Carrying out MOT preparation and repairs Replacing components such as brakes, clutches, suspension, timing belts, etc. Using diagnostic equipment to identify faults efficiently Completing all work to manufacturer and safety standards Maintaining accurate job records and reporting any additional work required Working effectively as part of a team to ensure workshop productivity targets are met The Ideal Candidate Will Have NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification) Proven experience working in a busy workshop environment Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills Good attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines A positive attitude and strong work ethic A full UK driving licence What We Offer Competitive salary (negotiable based on experience) Stable, full-time employment Supportive team environment Ongoing training and development opportunities Opportunity for progression within a growing business If you are a skilled technician looking for your next opportunity within a professional and forward-thinking garage, we would love to hear from you.
