We are seeking one experienced female Lead Carer and one experienced male Lead Carer to join our team.
Blue Sky Enabling has an exciting job opportunity for two experienced support workers with a level 3 in Health & Social Care to join our teams as a lead carer. You will be working across five services each in Trowbridge and Surrounding areas. As well as working on shifts in a supported living environments of a service users' own home, you will undertake tasks to support the care managers for the equivalent to one day a week. These task include:
* Participating in the on call rota out of hours service.
* To undertake and complete a Level 3 in Education and Training.
* To complete observations and practical training.
* To lead shadow shifts for new staff.
* To assist care managers with monthly audits using a template.
* To assist the care managers with supervisions following a template.
Shift patterns range from 24 hours shifts including sleep-ins, and day shifts. You would be working in a person-centred way with a service users with autism, learning disabilities and complex behaviours that can be disruptive.
As part of our collaborative teams, you will be supporting this service user to live a life of their own choosing, whilst providing them with clear guidance in accordance with their support plans and PBSP.
You will be working with a service user who has complex needs, therefore, applicants whose first language is English are required. We will NOT be offering a sponsorship with this position. We will also prioritise applicants who have a DBS on the online update service.
You will be supported to maintain training relevant to this role.

You must live within a 1 hour commute of Trowbridge and you must be able to commute to and from the service user's home to meet shift start times, as well as the office one day per week.
