Overview
Bank HCSW Midwifery Students – Dundee University and Abertay University only. NHS Scotland is inviting Dundee and Abertay midwifery students to join the staff bank at NHS Tayside, with opportunities to develop clinical skills and work flexible hours to fit study and commitments.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of the NHS Tayside staff bank to support nursing and midwifery services across locations.
* Aim to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and comply with the Code of Conduct.
* Book and work shifts on an electronic system, choosing locations and patterns (day, evening, night shifts, weekends) to fit availability.
* Provide evidence that core mandatory LearnPro modules (including Manual Handling and BLS/ALS/ILS) are up to date on applying.
* Provide one reference on the application (Head of Studies from your university).
Qualifications and requirements
* Active Dundee or Abertay university midwifery student.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
* Willingness to undertake additional skills to support clinical development.
* Eligibility to work in the UK without visa sponsorship for bank employment (note: Skilled Worker visa sponsorship is not provided for bank roles).
* Accurate email address for correspondence and regular checking of email and JobTrain updates.
