Ecolab company, the world leader in resin-based separation, purification and extraction technology, is seeking a Facilities & Security Supervisor at our state-of-the-art manufacturing site in Llantrisant, Wales!

Ecolab is seeking a Facilities & Security Lead who will work within the wider UK Engineering team and contribute to the efficient day-to-day operation of the UK manufacturing plant.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
1. Become a key part of the manufacturing and engineering team
2. Deliver site CAPEX facility improvement projects by controlling capital project management framework from project initiation to full on time delivery, whilst controlling project costs and targets
3. Oversee the facilities operational budget ensuring spending is controlled and monthly targets are met
4. Ensure site compliance to all relevant regulatory bodies and comply with Ecolabs management systems in line with its standards (ISO9001; ISO14001 & ISO45001)
5. Completion of statutory maintenance in line with current legislation.
6. Maintain building service and utility systems including HVAC, lighting, gas, electricity, water, and security etc.
7. Manage the site’s team of facility engineers and security/fire/contractor control team, ensuring that essential facility maintenance is duly actioned in line with business operations
8. Provide positive and strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring for the team whilst monitoring performance and results
9. Interact with suppliers, vendors and manufacturers of equipment to build trusted relationships with business partners
10. Investigate and implement waste, quality and productivity improvements for all aspects of operations with an emphasis on SHE compliance
11. Site contact for utility infrastructure providers (Welsh Water National Grid, Wales & West Utilities)
12. Interact with other site scientists, engineers, plant operators, finance and purchasing teams and other Ecolab employees
13. Develop site required processes and associated procedures in line with the site eQMS system
14. Set departmental KPI’s, track and ensure targets are met
Qualifications:
15. Proven experience in facilities management with minimum of 5 years’ experience
16. Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or relevant experience
17. Recognized project management qualification
18. NEBOSH certificate or equivalent
19. An understanding of environmental compliance such as ESOS & NRW annual metrics
20. Experienced in Health & Safety fundamentals (Risk Assessment, Permit to Work, Contractor Control
21. High level of interpersonal skills
22. Experience working with a range of stakeholders across a business.
23. Experience of managing a team along with all aspects of goal setting, appraisals & career development
24. High level of competency with MS Office
25. Willingness to work in a hands-on environment
26. Work as a self-starter as part of a growing team
27. Highly numerate, technically minded and analytical, with a love of problem solving and the ability to balance creativity with logic.
