Visit : MoretoMurphy A day in the life of a Murphy Design Manager Produce design briefs for permanent works Ensure consultants are appointed appropriately Lead technical reviews of submissions from our design partners Ensure conformance to the Murphy Design Management procedure Lead design matters on small/medium/large/mega sized project/s as directed Allocate design tasks to individuals/companies as required and maintain associated RACI Manage day to day interface between design and construction teams and maintain its adequate records Review design progress according to programme and contractual requirements Lead constructability reviews Involvement in work winning to ensure consultants and engaged appropriately and adequate allowances are included in the bid Assist Senior Design Managers, consultants and multi-discipline engineering teams to deliver the design solutions to schedule and budget to a high standard of professional competence Management of design change to support best outcome for the project Support with management of risk and opportunity in design Still interested, does this sound like you?
