The Role
We’re seeking an exceptional Head Chef to lead the culinary vision at The NICI Newquay from pre-opening through launch and beyond.
You will shape the food identity of the hotel, build and inspire a talented team, and deliver a restaurant experience that is stylish, confident, and rooted in quality.
Key Responsibilities

Lead all kitchen pre-opening activity, including recruitment, training, and kitchen setup

Develop innovative, on-brand menus across restaurant, bar, events, and room service
*
Build and lead a high-performing kitchen team
*
Maintain exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation
*
Manage food costs, margins, suppliers, and stock control
*
Ensure compliance with all food safety and hygiene standards
About You

Proven experience as a Head Chef in a luxury or lifestyle hotel or restaurant
*
A strong leader with a creative yet commercially focused mindset
*
Passionate about seasonal ingredients and modern coastal cuisine
