Senior Full-Stack Developer (Next.js & Data Architecture) - contract

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to lead a greenfield web platform project. This role offers full ownership of the technical architecture, allowing you to define modern standards and deliver a high-performance, scalable application. You will work closely with a Lead UI/UX Designer to ensure a seamless and visually polished user experience.
You will design and build a modular, responsive web application with multiple types of users and secure access layers, delivering a fast, stable, and maintainable platform.
Location: remote/hybrid in UK, Poland.
Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience.
What you’ll be doing:
* Building a performant, responsive frontend with dynamic content and smooth interactions.
* Creating a secure backend ecosystem supporting modular features, integrations, and user management.
* Working on a scalable architecture built on Next.js, a Headless CMS, and cloud-based data storage.
* Building a high-speed, SEO-optimised project featuring dynamic content and media-rich pages that convey brand maturity.
What you’ll bring to the role:
* Core Stack:
- Expert-level React and Next.js (App Router architecture preferred).
- Tailwind CSS proficiency to implement modular layouts and a strict grid system.
- Animation experience (Framer Motion, GSAP, or similar) for smooth UI transitions.
* Data & Backend:
- Experience with cloud-based data storage solutions and building efficient API routes in Node.js.
- Headless CMS integration for content decoupling and rapid updates.
- Secure authentication, role-based access control, and persistent user state management.
* The Person We Need:
- Able to translate broad requirements into scalable, maintainable technical solutions.
- Skilled at converting high-fidelity designs into precise, interactive applications.
- Comfortable leading the technical stack while collaborating with external specialists.
- Performance-focused, ensuring high-speed, reliable, and maintainable systems.
