About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Automotive Mechanic to join our busy service team. You will carry out servicing, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on a wide variety of vehicles, including cars and commercial vehicles. The role includes performing electronic vehicle health checks, advising customers on recommended work, and ensuring all tasks meet manufacturer, safety, and quality standards. This position is ideal for technicians seeking career progression, variety, and long-term stability.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs
* Diagnose faults using modern diagnostic tools and vehicle software
* Perform electronic vehicle health checks and inspections
* Work on cars and light commercial vehicles, including manufacturer-authorised work
* Maintain accurate job cards and service records
* Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and manufacturer standards
* Deliver excellent customer service and support high levels of satisfaction
What We're Looking For
* Experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Mechanic, MOT Tester, or Master Technician
* Background in main dealer, independent, fast fit, or commercial workshops
* Strong diagnostic, mechanical repair, and fault-finding skills
* Reliable, professional, and motivated with a positive work ethic
* Full UK driving licence
* Apprenticeship-trained technicians welcome
* Level 3 qualification preferred
* MOT qualification beneficial
