About The Role
Become a Teaching Assistant - SEND! Previous experience is highly desired. You will be required to travel to the Melksham area.
Vision For Education offers this bespoke opportunity to support passionate individuals entering the education sector. We work with our client schools to provide successful Teaching Assistants with high-quality training and paid on-the-job experience.
Following a successful interview, and subject to safeguarding and identity checks, we will work to secure you a paid placement in a school to further develop your skills.
About The School
Before starting your placement, you will complete a comprehensive training program delivered by Vision for Education and school leaders, equipping you with essential skills to work as a Teaching Assistant - SEND.
Teaching Assistants play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of schools. The most effective have excellent communication skills and a passion for supporting children's daily needs. They build relationships with staff, children, and families.
The role varies by school. You may support the teacher in class, run small group interventions, or work on a 1:1 basis to meet individual needs and help children thrive.
Requirements
To be considered, you should:
* Have a passion for supporting and helping children.
* Be dedicated to improving outcomes for all children.
* Be committed to completing training and ongoing CPD.
* Be willing to pay for an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service.

Salary
£13.68 per day, dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
