Overview
We are currently looking for a Deputy Headteacher for a SEN School in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities
* Support the Head Teacher in the strategic and day-to-day leadership of the school
* Lead on the development and implementation of high-quality SEN teaching and learning practices
* Line manage and support teaching staff and middle leaders
* Drive school improvement initiatives and monitor their impact
* Ensure high standards of behaviour, inclusion, and safeguarding across the school
* Develop and oversee tailored curriculum pathways for pupils with diverse needs
* Deputise for the Head Teacher as required
Person Specification
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Substantial experience working in an SEN setting
* Proven leadership experience at Assistant Head or Deputy level
* Deep understanding of SEND pedagogy, statutory requirements, and EHCP processes
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Commitment to inclusive education and the ability to inspire staff and pupils
