We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Assistant Quantity Surveyor in the Southwest & Wales region, with projects ranging from Exeter to Carmarthen and offices in Bristol and Cardiff.
The Role
The Graduate Assistant Quantity Surveyor will learn and develop the skills necessary to support commercial activity in the region.
You will be enrolled onto our graduate programme, a two-year structured training scheme designed to enhance and develop soft skills and technical capability through classroom-based learning and on-the-job training, including support with chartership.
Key Responsibilities
* Maximisation of commercial results of the project
* Procurement and Financial Control of Sub-Contractors
* Delivery of monthly financial reports to forecast net margin & activity utilising the company tools, procedures & rules
* Liaison and collaboration with the construction and design teams in all aspects of contractual activities
What You’ll Need
* A 2:1 or above in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction Management (or similar)
* A genuine interest in the construction industry
