Hays are proud to be working in partnership with a large, well-established public sector organisation to recruit multiple Band 3 Finance Officers to join their Finance & Estates team in Dundonald & Lisburn.
Your new role
As Finance Officer, you will provide key administrative and financial support within a busy finance function.
Duties will include:
Processing financial information in line with set procedures and deadlinesSupporting reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial recordsHandling queries from a range of stakeholders and providing timely supportAssisting with prompt payment processes and financialplianceInputting, validating and maintaining financial data across systemsManaging correspondence, emails and general administrative tasksAssisting with cash handling and banking processes where requiredContributing to the smooth running of the finance office and wider teamWhat you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will:
Have a minimum of 4 GCSEs (A–C), including Maths and English, or equivalentHave at least 1–2 years’ experience within a finance or office environment, ideally involving financial systems and processesDemonstrate a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and WordWhat you'll get in return
3 month assignment with potential to extendFull time hours with flex The opportunity to gain experience within a large, recognised public sector organisation
