We are looking for confident and adaptable Cover Supervisors to support a variety of secondary schools. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone with experience working with young people who is seeking flexible, classroom-based work. Beginning ASAP.
Duties as Cover Supervisor:
* Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring pupils stay focused on pre-set work.
* Maintain a calm, positive learning environment and manage behaviour in line with school policies.
* Provide brief feedback to teaching staff on lesson progress and pupil engagement.
* Assist with registration, break duties, and other tasks as required.
Ideal Cover Supervisor:
* Experience working with young people (school, tutoring, youth work or similar) is desirable.
* Strong communication and classroom management skills as a Cover Supervisor.
* Ability to adapt quickly to different subjects and year groups.
* A valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
