Role: Logistics and Terminal Lead
Location: Ellesmere Port
Type: Permanent
Salary: £45,000-£47,000 per annum
Hours: 2 days, 2 nights, 6 days off
Looking for your next leadership role in terminal operations?
We're hiring a Logistics and Terminal Lead to oversee daily activities at a busy fuel terminal. In this role, you will manage a small team, ensuring smooth and safe loading and discharge of fuel components.
The Role
* Lead and support operators, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational excellence.
* Manage permits to work and uphold site procedures.
* Oversee biomass boiler operations for efficient performance.
* Conduct site audits and ensure third-party compliance.
* Collaborate with supply chain and maintenance teams.
* Input blend work orders accurately using ERP systems.
The Candidate
* Supervisory experience in a terminal, logistics, or similar environment.
* Strong commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Experience with COMAH sites or fuel handling is advantageous.
* HNC, NVQ Level 3 in Process Operations, or NEBOSH (desirable).
* IT skills, including ERP and Excel (preferred).
