Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Order Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing customer orders, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the order processing cycle.

We are a small online business based few miles from Wedmore, we have been running for 9 years. We are a team of six, with full and part time employees. Company fit is important for us. We work hard but also like to have fun and consider our work environment more informal.
This position requires strong administrative skills, excellent customer service and proficiency in Windows Office suite, experience with Shopify would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
This role is Monday to Wednesday between hours of 9 to 4.30pm.
* Pick, pack & process customer orders accurately and efficiently using our order management system.
* Support in maintaining as well as adding new product pages to the website.
* Support in stock ordering and goods in, checking receipt of deliveries including QC checks.
* Communicate effectively with customers via email and social media to address inquiries and provide order updates.
* Utilise Microsoft Office and Google Workspace tools for documentation and communication purposes.
* Perform general clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and organising documents as needed.
* Some manual handling is required so a moderate level of fitness would be advantageous.
Requirements
* Previous office experience is essential, with a focus on administrative tasks.
* Ideally experience in Eccomerce platforms such as Shopify.
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
Typical day
Monday is our busiest day with weekend orders so this would be majority spent on packing orders with some admin time.
Tuesday and Wednesday would be usually a couple of hours on order packing and the remainder of the day on administration tasks.
Flexibility
As a small team we would need whoever applies to be willing to cover annual leave within the team in the year.
