Senior Legal Counsel - Maternity Cover Location: Warwickshire (Hybrid Working) Contract: Fixed-Term (12 months) An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to join a well-established in-house legal team on a maternity cover contract. This is a key position providing legal support across a range of corporate, commercial, and governance matters. The Role: Reporting to the Group General Counsel, you will play a hands-on role advising on corporate transactions and day-to-day legal matters affecting the business. The role offers a broad mix of responsibilities, including drafting and negotiating legal documents, advising on corporate governance, and supporting wider business operations. Key Responsibilities: Drafting and negotiating corporate and commercial agreements. Providing legal advice on governance, compliance, and general business matters. Managing external legal counsel on specialist projects where required. Supporting the legal aspects of business projects and transactions. Supervising and supporting junior legal team members. About You: The ideal candidate will: Be a qualified solicitor with 5-8 years' PQE (private practice and/or in-house). Have strong experience in corporate transactional work and general commercial matters. Be comfortable leading on legal projects and managing multiple priorities. Possess excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
