Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the IT department with day-to-day support including basic troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues;
2. Help configure laptops, office devices, and standard software tools;
3. Support the installation and setup of network infrastructure such as routers, switches, and firewalls;
4. Participate in IT asset inventory management and labelling;
5. Assist with user account setup, email configuration, and access permissions;
6. Support routine security tasks such as backups and antivirus scans;
7. Assist in IT projects like system upgrades or application rollouts;
8. Complete any other tasks assigned by Line Manager.
Requirements:
* Undergraduate or graduate student majoring in Computer Science, IT, or a related field;
* Familiarity with Windows or Mac operating systems and basic MS Office tools;
* Basic knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., IP, DNS, VPN);
* Detail-oriented with good communication and teamwork skills;
* Chinese and English communication ability is a plus.
Additional Information:
* Availability: 3 to 5 days per week, flexible depending on academic schedule;
* Preferred internship period: minimum of 3 months;
* Internship certificate will be provided; outstanding interns may be offered a part-time/full-time opportunity.
