The Best Connection West Bromwich are delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Class 1 Low loader (C+E) HGV Driver to join our reputable client based in the heart of West Bromwich.
The Role
You will be responsible for delivering plant equipment, on a low loader to building sites across the UK. Must be confident in loading +unloading and securing plant equipment
Key Responsibilities:
* 2-5 deliveries/collections per day nationwide
* Loading and unloading of plant equipment
* Start times between 04:00-06:00, Monday to Friday
* X1 night out per week
* Driving safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
* Adhering to all health and safety standards, The Highway Code, and vehicle regulations
* Completing regular vehicle checks
* Keeping vehicles in clean condition
Requirements
* Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
* Driver CPC Qualification
* Digital Tachograph Card
* Low loader experience (preferred)
* Experience using straps/chains to secure loads (advantageous)
Pay & Benefits
* £18.00 per hour
* £27.00 per hour after 8 hours worked per day
* 28 days paid holiday (accrued)
