Are you a detail-driven Quality Engineer looking to join a growing electro-mechanical manufacturing business where your work will have a real impact?
We’re partnering with an established and innovative engineering manufacturer in Staines that is looking to strengthen its quality team with the addition of a proactive and hands-on Quality Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a fast-paced production environment, supporting both manufacturing and supplier quality activities while driving continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities for the Quality Engineer:
Conduct inspection and testing of materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards
Support and maintain quality management systems, audits, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Investigate non-conformances, carry out root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventative actions
Maintain accurate quality records, calibration systems, and product traceability throughout production
Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to improve overall quality performance
Support supplier quality activities and help ensure compliance with ISO and customer requirements
Contribute to driving a strong quality-focused culture across the businessRequirements for the Quality Engineer:
Previous experience within a Quality Engineer, Quality Inspector, or Quality Assurance role in a manufacturing or engineering environment
Understanding of structured quality systems and ISO standards
Experience with inspection techniques, problem-solving methodologies, and continuous improvement activities
Strong attention to detail with a methodical and analytical approach
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-moving engineering environmentThis role may also suit candidates with experience as a:
Quality Inspector, Quality Control Engineer, Mechanical Inspector, Quality Assurance Engineer, Quality Technician, Manufacturing Quality Engineer, or Supplier Quality Engineer.
