Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Stores person for a fantastic client based in Castle Donington.
Permanent role.
Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm.
Up to £27,000 depending on experience.
Stores Person - The Role:
1. Distribute equipment according to load lists.
2. Monitor stock levels, reporting shortages.
3. Ordering stock and materials as directed.
4. Keep work area tidy.
5. Forklift driving to load/unload vehicles and move equipment when necessary.
6. Supervision of full time and part time workers where allocated.
7. Ensure all equipment is sent to site in correct containers and stacked/secured to inhibit movement during transportation.
8. Ensure all equipment returned to the yard is processed correctly, ensuring maintenance and small repairs where necessary.
9. Report any damage promptly and issue correct paperwork.
10. Involved in Company annual stock takes
Stores Person - The Candidate:
11. Forklift operator
12. Team player with good communication skills
13. Proactive with a good level of numeracy
14. Able to work under pressure and within tight timescales
15. Good IT skills
16. Full driving licence
17. Occasional overtime and weekend work may be required
