The purpose of this role is to support data-driven decision-making across the business by collecting, analysing, and interpreting complex datasets. The Data Analyst will provide accurate, timely, and actionable insights enabling better strategic and operational decisions across functions, including Projects, Design, Operations, Scheduling and Finance, that support the design, development, and delivery of highly customised, low-volume vehicles for leading global automotive brands.

In addition we deliver full vehicle development, including chassis and powertrain, to high net-worth heritage racers via our heritage racing division, ADP Classic Racing. We restore and rebuild high-end classic racing cars, prepare drivers, manage a programme of touring and racing, and provide full event support.
Roles and Responsibilities
This role is based at our Witham engineering facility.
* Collect and consolidate data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and third-party systems to support the accurate updating and ongoing maintenance of the Bill of Materials (BoM) across multiple projects.
* Clean, validate, and organise raw data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
* Maintain databases, spreadsheets and datasets, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
* Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business objectives.
* Use statistical methods to interpret data and provide actionable recommendations.
* Design and develop reports, dashboards, and data graphs using tools in Excel.
Present findings in a clear, concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Automate regular reporting to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
* Work with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress.
* Support strategic decision-making by delivering insights and predictive analytics where applicable.
* Collaborate with teams across departments (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Operations, Production) to understand data needs and objectives.
* Communicate data findings effectively to support business initiatives.
Skills and Experience Required
Strong numeracy and general IT proficiency. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and data visualisation tools.
Proficient in analysing large sets of material or production data to identify discrepancies or trends.
High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Experience using ERP/MRP systems (e.g. Progress Plus or similar).
Strong sense of accountability and ownership over data accuracy and traceability.
Strong written and verbal communication skills for liaising with differing levels of stakeholders across the business.
Comfortable working in cross-functional teams and high-pressure project environments.
Flexible and adaptable to changing project demands or tight timelines.
Calm under pressure, with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Professional, accountable, and proactive mindset, with a consistently helpful attitude.
Strong communication skills and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
