Position Overview:
We are looking for a passionate, experienced, and energetic Gymnastics Coach to lead and assist in delivering high-quality classes for both children and adults. This role requires someone who can adapt their coaching style to suit different ages and ability levels, ensuring sessions are safe, challenging, and fun.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver structured, progressive gymnastics sessions for children (from preschool age upwards) and adult participants
* Create a fun, inclusive, and safe training environment
* Adapt coaching methods to accommodate a variety of skill levels and learning styles
* Support and motivate students in developing confidence, strength, flexibility, and coordination
* Provide clear, constructive feedback and technical corrections
* Maintain professional and positive communication with students, parents, and team members
* Ensure adherence to House of GPA policies and health & safety standards
* Assist with holiday camps, events, or performances as needed
* Keep equipment and facilities safe, clean, and well-maintained
Requirements:
* Prior coaching experience in gymnastics (recreational or competitive), acro, or similar movement-based disciplines
* Confident in coaching both children and adults
* Minimum Level 1 UKCC Gymnastics coaching qualification (or international equivalent)
* Current Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain)
* First Aid and Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete)
* Energetic, friendly, and reliable
* Strong communication and time management skills
Desirable:
* UKCC Level 2 qualification in Gymnastics, Acro, or related discipline
* Experience with adult fitness, movement, or acro-based classes
* Choreography or performance experience
* Experience working with neurodiverse individuals or inclusive programming
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £8.50-£30.00 per hour
