Job Description
3. Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets to support decision-making processes.
4. Handle reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal procedures.
5. Contribute to month-end and year-end financial processes.
6. Support accounts payable and receivable tasks as needed.
7. Maintain and update financial records for audit readiness.
8. Collaborate with team members to enhance accounting procedures.
9. Provide input on financial policy development and implementation.
10. Respond to financial queries from internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
11. Previous experience in an accounting or finance role.
12. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
13. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
14. An understanding of financial processes and regulations.
15. Either be studying towards or have a willingness to pursue a recognised accounting qualification.
16. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
