Full Stack Developer (Contract, Remote – UK Time Preferred)

Your Role
We're now looking for a visionary Head of Engineering to lead our tech team and help scale the software that will change how clients engage with financial advice.
* Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end APIs and data workflows.
* Build front-end components as needed to integrate and test features end to end.
* Collaborate with the product manager and other developers in agile sprints.
* Contribute to architecture and technical decisions across the full stack.
* Support testing, iteration, and refinement throughout alpha, beta, and live phases.
What You’ll Need
We’re looking for someone with:
* 4+ years of experience in full stack development (JavaScript/TypeScript preferred).
* Proficiency with React (or similar) on the front end and Node.js, Express, or similar on the back end.
* Solid experience working with RESTful APIs, databases (e.g. PostgreSQL or MongoDB), and Git-based workflows.
* A clear understanding of secure, modular, and testable architecture.
* Experience delivering end-to-end features in agile, iterative teams.
Bonus Points If You Have
* Worked in a regulated or financial services environment (e.g. WealthTech, FinTech, InsurTech).
* Experience deploying to cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Vercel, or Heroku).
* Familiarity with authentication (OAuth2, JWT) and data privacy best practices.
* Exposure to performance monitoring or observability tooling.
