About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and resilient Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join a welcoming and inclusive school community within Slough Borough. Support may be provided on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, depending on the needs of the pupils.

Key Responsibilities
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
* Providing tailored support to pupils with special educational needs, both academically and emotionally
* Supporting the class teacher in adapting lesson materials to meet individual learning needs
* Implementing strategies outlined in Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)
* Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils develop social and emotional skills
* Supporting pupils with personal care, where required, in a respectful and dignified manner
* Monitoring progress and providing feedback to teachers and SENCOs
* Assisting with transitions between lessons and supporting pupils during unstructured times
* Promoting independence while offering appropriate levels of support
* Creating a safe, calm, and inclusive learning environment
