Junior Business Analyst Salary: Up to £33,000 - £36,500 pa Benefits Location: Bristol (Hybrid) Job Type: Full-time, 12-month FTC We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst to join our team within the Adult and Social Care department. This role is pivotal in supporting the delivery of services to vulnerable children and adults in our community. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in investigating options, recommending solutions, and implementing business improvements to enhance the department's effectiveness. Day-to-day of the role: Setting up workshops, identifying key stakeholders, and maintaining logs of discussions. Maintaining a project plan to manage activities and timelines, ensuring stakeholders are informed and involved at the appropriate times. Developing 'To Be' and 'As Is' process maps and supporting guidance for each project. Producing working prototypes on systems to demonstrate future processes to stakeholders. Influencing and guiding stakeholders to understand the benefits of systematised work processes. Holding demo sessions post-design to communicate proposed changes and gather feedback. Supporting stakeholders during the 'go live' phase, ensuring confidence in using the new system. Conducting post-implementation reviews to assess outcomes and determine if further changes are needed. Explaining complex concepts to non-technical users with a natural analytical approach. Required Skills & Qualifications: Degree in IT, IS, or a related subject, or relevant experience in a similar role. Strong analytical skills with experience in identifying, documenting, and implementing new business processes. Knowledge of relevant legislative frameworks, including the Data Protection Act. Proficiency in MS Office Software, Visio, and project management software, with an understanding of their relation to business processes.
