Our client is seeking an experienced MMA (Stick) Welder to join their growing team, providing specialist welding services for fuel tanks and fuel-system infrastructure across the UK. This is a mobile, on-site role working on commercial, industrial and agricultural sites.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out MMA (Stick) welding on fuel tanks, pipework and associated structures
Perform repairs, modifications, reinforcement work and small-scale fabrication
Complete on-site welding tasks using mobile welding equipment
Follow strict safety and compliance procedures for hot-work on fuel-bearing structures
Conduct site assessments and ensure safe working environments
Interact professionally with clients and represent the business to a high standard
Requirements
Proven experience in MMA (Stick) welding
Strong understanding of hot-work and safety procedures on fuel systems
Ability to work independently on client sites across the UK
Full UK driving licence
Relevant welding qualifications or time-served equivalent experience
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work to deadlines
Have current codes
Hold a CSCS Card
Desirable (Not Essential)
Experience working on fuel tanks or within hazardous-area environments
Additional welding or fabrication skills
Confined space or hot-work certification
