Overview
The post supports the Healthy Family Team in delivering a universal and targeted 0-19 Healthy Child and Public Health Nursing Programme, in line with national and local guidelines and public health priorities. The role involves working proactively as part of a partnership approach to promote health and tackle health inequalities within the level of competencies for the post. Willingness to undertake breastfeeding training and to support feeding groups as required.
Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to the Healthy Family Team in an office environment.
* Support the delivery of the National Child Measurement Programme as part of the team’s activities.
* Support flexible delivery across the Gedling District, with occasional work with children, young people and families within schools or other community settings.
Location and Working Arrangements
The post base is Park House. The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the Healthy Family Team across the Gedling District.
